Around 65 people joined the T. E. Lawrence Society at the Cockpit Theatre in London on Friday January 22 for a staged reading of Jan Woolf’s new play, The Man with the Gold.

The reading was held to evaluate the script and give feedback to the playwright and director Philip Wilson. This objective was achieved partly through a Q&A session afterwards and an audience survey.

The play had its world premiere at the T. E. Lawrence Society’s Symposium at St John’s College, Oxford on Friday September 23.
