NW Group Visit to Rickaro Books and Horbury, Wakefield

You are invited to a private view of impressive Lawrence memorabilia, hosted by collector Richard Knowles, with the opportunity to browse his bookshop in historic Horbury, Wakefield
Many of you know Richard, as he runs the Symposium bookshop and offers an excellent selection of Lawrence books. During our visit he will share his private collection of Lawrence books and artefacts which reflects his long-standing interest in Lawrence. Places are limited so BOOK NOW!
Meet at 11am at Rickaro Books, 17 High Street, Horbury, Wakefield WF4 5AB. Richard will show us a selection of his Lawrence material, including letters and original photographs, and answer questions. We will have time to browse the extensive general selection of second-hand and new books. There are coffee-shops nearby if you arrive early, and parking well signed. We will have lunch at a local café before Richard leads our walking tour of Horbury, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and has an elegant John Carr church of 1790, the Carnegie Free Library begun in 1905 and an early lock-up (jail).
The cost for the day will be £5 per person, payable on the day, plus whatever you might be tempted to spend in the bookshop.
